Nathalie Emmanuel
Nathalie Emmanuel, a British actress best known for the role as Missandei (HBO's fantasy epic Game of Thrones) from 2011 to 2019 she was the first British actor. Emmanuel was born in and raised in Southend-on-the-Sea in Essex's seaside resort was always interested in acting. Nathalie was taking singing, acting and dance lessons at the age of three. The parents of her were amazed. Emmanuel was a talented performer, and she developed quickly. In the latter half in the 90s, she was playing the role of a young Nala in "The The Lion King" which was a West End musical that was a huge success. By the time she became an adult, Emmanuel began auditioning for the roles in TV and films. Her first break came in 2007 when she was chosen to play Sasha Valentine, a British soap opera "Hollyoaks", (Channel 4 95between 2007 and 2010). Emmanuel performed the role for four years before leaving Hollyoaks in 2010. Emmanuel got her first break on HBO "Game of Thrones" three years later, as Missandei. In this role, she serves as the character's interpreter, akin to Daenerys the Targaryen role (portrayed by Emilia Clarke). Emmanuel played in all seasons of "Game of Thrones", all the way to the May 2019 series conclusion.
